Associate Attorney – Joseph R. Costello

Joseph R. Costello is an Associate Attorney concentrating in real estate and commercial litigation, as well as landlord tenant/housing court. Mr. Costello has been licensed to practice law since 1998. He is also licensed in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the States of New Jersey, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was a partner in a Brooklyn based law firm wherein he represented corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters, including corporate formation, Real Estate, Estates, Landlord Tenant as well as Commercial and Civil Litigation.  Real estate allowed him to learn the ins and outs of contract law, real estate law, and landlord tenant law, as well as estates. As such he was able to use his knowledge and began litigating matters in these areas. Some areas include, easement disputes, adverse possession, constructive trusts, actions in specific performance, partition actions, representing commercial landlords, individual homeowners in housing court, successful trials, and promissory notes.

Joseph lives with his wife and two kids in Staten Island. When he is not practicing law, he devotes a great deal of time to the race team he owns, which his son drives for, and traveling to various race tracks. When he is not with the race team, he is involved with his daughter’s cheer competitions.
